
Give the stick a name under the volume name. If you want to carry out thorough reformatting, switch off the quick formatting.

If you only want to quickly delete all data on the USB stick, leave the Quick format option switched on. If you only want to use the stick with Windows, select NTFS here. If you also want to use the USB stick with other operating systems such as Linux or Mac OS X, select FAT32 here. In the window that appears, the file system option is particularly important.
